Dance All Day Festival
Every October, Lula Washington Dance Theatre participates in Taste of Soul and hosts the Dance All Day Festival, a full day of free dance performances, classes, spoken word, music, and fun activities for children.
Lula Washington Dance Theatre’s Dance All Day Festival coincides with the Taste of Soul street extravaganza along Crenshaw Boulevard.
Viewers can sit and watch, or they can get up and dance on stage, or, at their seats in front of the stage. The event is designed to be fun for everybody.
All the activities take place on a large outdoor stage in the Lula Washington Dance Theatre parking lot at 3773 Crenshaw Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90016 – at the corner of Crenshaw and Coliseum. All the performances are free. Taste of Soul visitors are encouraged to drop by Lula’s, sit down, rest, watch performances, and then head back out onto Crenshaw Boulevard.
