The Company tours internationally and has
performed at such venues as Lincoln Center
Out of Doors; the John F. Kennedy Center in
Washington, D.C.; the Joyce Theatre; and at
theaters in Germany, Spain, Mexico and
St. Croix, Virgin Islands.
Every October, Lula Washington Dance Theatre participates in Taste of Soul and hosts the Dance All Day Festival, a full day of free dance performances, classes, spoken word, music, and fun activities for children.
Every December, right after Christmas, Lula Washington Day Theatre students perform in the annual Kwanzaa concert. Focusing on African dance, the concert celebrates children, family, and community.
Every June, every dancer, from three-year-old students to the young adults and members of the professional Lula Washington Dance Theatre, perform in an annual recital.
